History Channel seeks pickers, appraisers for new series

Digging for valuables

Do you have an eye for what’s “trash” and what’s “treasurer”? Does the sight of a barn or estate filled with undiscovered treasure make your heart beat faster? Do you specialize in certain antiques or collectibles?

A new auction TV series on the History Channel is slated for summer production, and producers are looking for characters to join the auction crew and cast. They are seeking men between the ages of 30 and 55 with picking or auction house experience. Candidates must have larger-than-life personalities, great senses of humor and spark. They also must have a superior knowledge and experience with male-appeal items (i.e. guns, tools, equipment, etc.) Producers will not consider real-estate only professionals.

Producers also are seeking a number of appraisers and experts in restoration and repair. Passionate collectors are encouraged to apply.

IMPORTANT: Candidates selected will be required to relocate to the Missouri Ozarks or travel to that region frequently.

By June 15, interested candidates must submit to evidentent@gmail.com the following:

-A brief biography
-Several current photos
-Contact information, including telephone, e-mail and/or website
