NAA Auctioneers hard at work on designations

Conference and Show officially starts Wednesday, but many attendees have already been hard at work with preconference education.

Preconference classes began on Thursday, July 8, with Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate (AARE) 100 and continued throughout the weekend and Tuesday.

In addition to AARE, the NAA Education Institute offered a variety of classes, including the five-day long Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA) class.

NAA Director of Education Michael Avery says he is pleased with the positive reception he has received about the classes.

“What’s been great about the classes so far is the level of engagement both inside and outside the classroom,” Avery says. “Students are walking away from each event with enlightenment on their faces. After hours are just as educational for the students because they’re making friends and learning new ways of doing business in the process.”
