Auction Ringmen from around the world plan to be in Branson, Mo., competing for the coveted title of World Ringman Champion on June 25-26, 2010.
Contestants will compete for more than $10,000 in prize money and awards. The top 10 finalists will receive a trophy, and the winner will receive a gold ring, as well, according to a news release.
The 2010 World Ringman Championship contestants will be judged while working a live benefit auction, proceeds from which will benefit Kids Are Special Too (K.A.S.T.). The organization helps children get involved in outdoor activities as opposed to drugs.
Contestants and a guest will be invited to enjoy a complimentary dinner cruise aboard the Branson Landing Princess Yacht on June 25.
The Keeter Center, at the College of the Ozarks, plans to play host to the event. Tickets to the June 26 auction include a College of the Ozarks dinner and seat reservations for the competition.
Room reservations can be made through the Keeter Center at (417) 239-1900. Mention the World Ringman Championship for a special room rate, starting at $59.
More information about the event will appear in the April issue of Auctioneer.
